Airlines

While the way Medina provides its service has changed over the course of our 25-year history in the airline industry, the substance has not. Medina’s airline clients employ our services to help develop and manage an efficient in-flight food service quality assurance program that is designed to check and evaluate caterer compliance with the airline’s caterer performance standards.
Medina’s in-flight food service quality assurance programs employ new technologies and auditing procedures that enable airlines to outsource quality assurance at a fraction of the cost of managing an internal program. More importantly, because Medina’s quality assurance programs never compromise effectiveness in the name of cost cutting, our airline clients have seen a significant reduction in food poisoning incidents and related legal actions. These initiatives have contributed to our clients’ capacity to continue serving safe, quality food products to passengers, pilots and crew. Currently, Medina is working on quality supply chain models for the airline industry with Air Canada. These supply chain models represent the “next wave” in airline passenger food service. Once again, these models seek to maintain the airlines capacity to continue offering passengers high quality food products.
